STANFORD, Calif. - After spending the last three years in San Francisco's Kezar Stadium, Stanford's annual Cardinal & White Spring Game will return to Stanford Stadium on Saturday, April 13. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. and admission is free.
Fan activities begin at 2:30 p.m. and include a football toss, face painting, photo booths and poster creation stations. Concessions and merchandise will be sold throughout the game. Fans are invited to enter the Stadium through Gates 2 and 11-13 with seating for the game designated on the East/Sunny side of the Stadium. Credentialed media access will be at Gate 1.
Free public parking is available in El Camino Grove/Lot #2 (parking map)
Stanford spirit groups will perform throughout the game. The Stanford Axe Committee will also host a trophy tent featuring the Rose Bowl Game trophy, Pac-12 Football Championship Game trophy, Jim Plunkett's 1970 Heisman Trophy and one of Stanford's 18 Directors' Cups. Fans are welcome to take photos with each trophy.
In addition, all current members of the 2013 Stanford football team will be available to sign autographs for fans of all ages following the game. Also available for autographs throughout the day will be select Stanford football alumni, including members of last year's Rose Bowl Game championship team.
New fans interested in purchasing season tickets for the 2013 season will have a chance to see available seats and purchase on the spot. Season tickets start at $249 for seven home games, including marquee matchups against Oregon and Notre Dame, and the 116th Big Game versus Cal.
The Stanford Cardinal Select-A-Seat event allows you to personally choose from the best available season ticket locations for the upcoming Stanford Football season. Season seats are available in a variety of locations and price categories throughout the stadium. Stanford sales representatives will be on hand from 2:30 p.m. through the conclusion of the game. Along with the other activities, fans are invited to visit the sales table on the concourse level to enter a Referral Raffle. Refer any number of friends, family or coworkers that may be interested in 2013 Stanford football season tickets; all referrals leading to a season ticket will be entered into a raffle to win four pre-game field passes to a game of your choosing. Due to NCAA regulations, high school students are not eligible for this prize.
