After Stanford's 20-17 season opening victory over San Jose State, Stanford Football Weekly and host Kevin Danna talked Tuesday with Bradford M. Freeman Director of Football David Shaw about the positives and lessons learned from the first battle test for the 2012 Cardinal.

Four senior players also joined Stanford Football Weekly. Quarterback Josh Nunes and wide receiver Drew Terrell discussed the offense and their on-field connections in each of their first career starts. Nick back Usua Amanam shared the emotions from his breakout performance, also his first collegiate start, that included four tackles for loss and two sacks. Inside linebacker Shayne Skov opened up about his excitement to return to the field this coming Saturday against Duke, after being out for nearly a year.

No. 25/21 Stanford is back on the field Saturday Sept. 8 against ACC foe Duke, with a 7:30pm PT kickoff at Stanford Stadium. Tickets for Saturday's game and the 2012 season are available for purchase online at GoStanford.com, at the Stanford Stadium Ticket Office and by calling 1-800-STANFORD.
