COLLEGE STATION, Texas-- Stanford graduate Cassidy Krug is the top competitor in her second Saturday final, and Dwight Dumais finished sixth in the one-meter competition on the second day of the AT&T National Divining Championships.

Krug, who now moves onto Saturday's finals in both the three-meter and the three-meter synchronized dive with partner, Kassidy Cook, tallied a score of 347.25 in the semifinals of the individual competition after a score of 324.45 in the quarterfinals, the second-best mark.

Krug's best dive in the semifinals was again her last two, scoring a 70.50 on a reverse 2 ½ somersault pike and 72.00 points on a forward 2 ½ somersault with a one twist pike. The ladder scored 8.0's or better from all but one of the seven judges.

In the prelims, she likely would have had the top overall score if not a 49.50 on the same reverse dive she scored 70.50 points she tallied in the semifinals. Her best score of the day was 79.50 on a back 2 ½ somersault pike in the prelims.

Dumais, who missed much of the second half of his senior season with a shoulder injury, finished with 367.70 points in the one-meter after securing one of eight spots in the semifinals following a fourth place finish (350.70). Dumais best dive was a forward 2 ½ somersault one twist pike for 76.80 points, which gave the Ventura, Calif. Native six 8.0's or better amongst the seven judges.

Cardinal recruit Stephanie Phipps finished 13th and just missed the finals, tallying 265.95 in the semifinals, 1.85 points from a finals appearance. Phipps secured the final spot in the preliminaries with a tally of 253.25.
