STANFORD, Calif. - Four Stanford University women's lacrosse players were named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation all-conference team, as announced by the league office. Senior defender Katie Grube and senior goalie Christina Saikus were joined on the All-MPSF team by junior midfielder Nina Pantano and sophomore attacker Megan Burker. Cardinal Head Coach Michele Uhlfelder was named MPSF Co-Coach of the Year.

In her fourth season at Stanford, Uhlfelder has the Cardinal consistently ranked in the top 20. This season, she guided her team to an 8-8 record, including a perfect 4-0 mark in MPSF play, earning the No. 1 seed in the upcoming MPSF Championship at the University of Denver. The Cardinal earned a season-high No. 14 ranking in the IWLCA poll earlier this year. In 2001, Stanford became the first team to garner a top 20 national ranking from the west.
