Stanford, Calif. - Stanford women's lacrosse (12-4, 4-0 MPLL) will host the second Mountain Pacific Lacrosse League Tournament this weekend at Maloney Field. The Cardinal earned the top seed after posting a 4-0 record in the conference. California, Denver and UC Davis round out the 2003 tournament field.
Saturday will feature two semifinal matches, starting with #2 California taking on the third-seeded Denver Pioneers at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 3. The Cardinal will then face #4 UC Davis at 1 p.m. On Sunday, May 4the the consolation game will begin at 11 a.m. while the championship match is slated to start at 1 p.m.
Tickets are available through 800-STANFORD or at the gate during the tournament. A two-day pass is available for $10 for adults, $6 for a student, child or senior. Single day passes will be sold for $6 for adults and $4 for student, child or senior. Stanford students are free with their SUID.
Free parking is available around Maloney Field (next to the Football Stadium) off of Galvez street on Stanford's main campus.
