STANFORD, Calif. - Following one of the most successful seasons in school history, in which the team won the Pac-10 championship for the first time-ever, the Stanford gymnastics program announces the addition of two new freshmen. Highlighting the list of newcomers, who are both competitors in the National Junior Olympics, are Abby Gair and Kelsey Stillinger.
"I truly believe that both of these gymnasts are outstanding," said Stanford head coach Mark Cook. "With two recruits this solid, it continues that tradition of building Stanford into one of the best gymnastics programs in the country."

One of the most sought after recruits in the country ... Finished second in the All-Around at last year's National Junior Olympics ... Strong athlete in all aspects of competition ... Member of the National Honor Society.
Kelsey Stillinger, Monte Sereno, CA (West Valley Gymnastics)
A current competitor in Level 10 gymnastics ... 1997 National Junior Olympic Champion in the Balance Beam ... Competed at the 1998 National Junior Olympics ... A very strong gymnast in the All-Around.
