STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford Football Weekly and host Kevin Danna talked Tuesday with Bradford M. Freeman Director of Football and head coach David Shaw about the impending clash with Oregon, including the challenges for his team to play its best game this week.
Four players also joined Stanford Football Weekly. Fifth-year senior center Sam Schwartzstein reflected upon the comeback win last week versus Oregon State. Senior defensive tackle Terrence Stephens opened up about his emotions throughout Senior Day, as well as his upcoming final duel with the Ducks. Sophomore quarterback Kevin Hogan talks about his game-winning touchdown toss to Zach Ertz to finish off his starting debut. Fifth-year senior outside linebacker Chase Thomas breaks down the defensive challenge playing against Oregon's speed.
No. 14/13 Stanford travels to No. 1/1 Oregon this week for the biggest game of the 2012 Pac-12 season. The game kicks off at 5 p.m. PT and is nationally broadcast on ABC.
