RB, 6-2, 225, Vaughn, Ont., Can.

A prep All-America who hails from Canada and is considered one of the prized recruits in 1999 ... Played only one game during the 1998 season because a teacher's strike in Ontario forced the cancellation of most of the football season ...Gained 175 yards and scored two touchdowns in that one game ... He caught the eye of college recruiters while playing for a summer league team for athletes 19-under in Canada ... In his 11 game season, he rushed for over 2,300 yards and scored 22 TDs while being named the league MVP ... SuperPrep ranked him #22 on their list of the Top-50 recruits ... SuperPrep also rated him as an All-America and the fifth best running back in the nation ... PrepStar selected him to their All-America "Dream Team" and rated him the #1 running back prospect in the Midwest ... He was among the Top-100 Recruits by the National Recruiting Advisor and a Max Emfinger "Bluechip" selection ...As a junior at Father Henry Carr High School in Ontario, Canada, Carter rushed for over 1,000 yards and scored 15 TDs in seven games ... He also played linebacker and strong safety ... During his sophomore season, he gained over 1,800 yards on the ground and scored 27 touchdowns in 10 games while leading his team to the Ontario championship ... Named to the Toronto Star All-Star team in both '96 and '97 ... A gifted athlete, Carter also played basketball, volleyball and ran track during his high school career ... A two-time All-Star in basketball ...Won the 1997-98 Henry Jerome Award as the top student-athlete in Canada ... Enjoys writing poetry ... Played defensive end, middle linebacker and offensive guard and was also the team's long snapper ... First-Team All-County offensive lineman as a junior ... Talented athlete who played quarterback, tight end and inside linebacker for East Lake High School in Florida ... Emfinger named him a "Bluechips" recruit as a tight end while SuperPrep selected him to the All-Dixie Regional team as a linebacker ... A prep All-America selection by Prep Star Magazine ... Recorded 120 tackles, two fumble recoveries, three forced fumbles and two interceptions last year ... Named Third-Team All-State and First-Team All-Florida Suncoast, All-County and All-Conference ... Despite not playing in 1998 due to a knee injury, Justin's reputation as one of the nation's top recruits remained intact ... He tore his ACL prior to his senior season, forcing him to miss the entire year ... PrepStar still named him one of the top recruits in the Big 12 Region ... He entered the year as a pre-season All-America by PrepStar, USA Today and Max Emfinger ... Rated among the top 100 recruits in Texas prior to the '98 campaign ... Played running back, free safety and returned punts and kicks for Lamar High School as a junior in 1997 ... He gained 490 yards rushing and scored five touchdowns during his junior year, three on the ground, one punt return and one kickoff return ... Also had 42 tackles and four interceptions as a safety ... Named First-Team All District 8-5A and All-Area as a junior ... National Merit Achievement Scholarship candidate ... A prep All-America who is considered one of the top linebacker prospects in the nation ... He had 202 total tackles last season for Brophy Prep High School in Phoenix ... He also accounted for 8.5 sacks, two interceptions and two forced fumbles ... As a running back, he gained 442 yards on 65 carries (6.8 ypc) and scored six touchdowns ... PrepStar named him an All-America and rated him as the 10th best linebacker prospect in the West ... Also an All-Farwest selction by Super Prep and a Max Emfinger "Bluechip" recruit ... Chosen the 5A Arizona Defensive Player of the Year in 1998 ... First-Team All-Arizona and All-Region as a linebacker following his senior season

A SuperPrep All-Farwest selection and a member of Max Emfinger's "Bluechip" list of the nation's top recruits ... Like Carter, his senior season was cut short due to a teacher's strike in Canada ... Still, he managed to earn All-America status by PrepStar magazine and All-Northwest by Super Prep ... PrepStar ranked him as the #2 defensive lineman in the Midwest ... A two-time Toronto Star "All-Star" selection ... Played basketball in high school as well.

OG/C, 6-3, 290, Houston, TX

An All-Southwest selection by Super Prep ... A member of Dave Campbell's Texas Top 100 and the Houston Chronicle Top 100 ... Can play center or guard ... First-Team All-District and honorable mention All-State ... Named the best offensive lineman in his district following his senior season ... All-District Academic as well ... Three-year starter at Clear Lake High School ... District champion in the shot put as a junior ... Member of the National Honor Society ... CB, 5-10, 180, Abington, PA

Talented cornerback with good speed and quickness ... An All-America selection by PrepStar magazine, who also ranked him as the fourth best defensive back prospect in the East ... An All-Northeast selection by Super Prep ... Started at cornerback and running as a senior ...Played most of the season with a cast on his hand ... Had 50 tackles and one interception to go along with over 500 yards rushing and nine touchdowns ... First-Team All-Area and All-Suburban League ... Started at running back and free safety as a junior ... Second-Team All-League as a running back after rushing for over 1,100 yards and 12 TDs ... Accounted for three interceptions ... Three-year starter at tight end and four-year starter at defensive end for Pass Christian High School in Mississippi ... Had 24 receptions for 540 yards and seven touchdowns the past two seasons ... Named First-Team All-Coast as a tight end as a senior and honorable mention as a junior ... First-Team All-District tight end following his senior year ... Named to the All-Dixie team by Super Prep ... Played basketball for three years ... QB, 6-3, 205, Long Beach, CA

One of the top recruits in the nation ... A consensus prep All-America quarterback ... Named the 1998 Gatorade National High School Football Player of the Year ... Also named to the Parade All-America First-Team ... Super Prep ranked him No. 21 on their list of the nation's top recruits while PrepStar named him to their "Dream Team" and their Super 30 All-West Team ... The National Recruiting Advisor placed him No. 35 on their list of the nation's top 100 recruits ... Super Prep not only named him an All-America, but the third best quarterback prospect in the nation ... As a senior, he completed 174-of-293 for 3,170 yards and 43 touchdowns ... He set the California state career record with 107 TD passes ... Threw for 8,616 yards in his career at Long Beach Poly High School ... Threw for 398 yards and seven touchdowns in one game ... Outstanding athlete who played quarterback and defensive end in high school, but will play tight end at Stanford ... He starred in football, basketball, baseball and track at West Lyon High School in Iowa ... The National Recruiting Advisor ranked him No. 26 on their list of the nation's top 100 recruits ... A "Bluechips" recruit by Max Emfinger ... Super Prep named him to their All-America team and ranked him as the sixth best "jumbo athlete" in the nation ... PrepStar selected him as an All-America and the No. 2 athlete in the Midwest ... Parade All-America as an "athlete" ... Played quarterback and defensive end as a senior, tight end and strong safety as a junior and wide receiver and strong safety as a sophomore ... He was First-Team All-District as a QB and First-Team All-State as a defensive end this past season ... Named to the Long Beach Press Telegram's "Best in the West" First Team ... Two-time First-Team All-State and two-time Defensive Player of the Year in Clark County ... An option quarterback in high school who has the reputation of being a dangerous player every time he touches the ball ... He will play wide receiver at Stanford ... A year ago, he threw for over 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns and ran for over 1,000 yards and 12 TDs ... Also started in the secondary ... He intercepted three passes, including one for a 95-yard TD return, and recorded 60 tackles ... He was selected a prep All-America by Super Prep and Prep Star ... Super Prep ranked him No. 8 on their list of the top "skill" athletes in the nation ... Chosen First-Team All-State as an athlete and as a defensive back ... As a senior at Heritage High School in Texas, he registered 64 tackles, 12 sacks, 13 tackles for loss, three caused fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 11 games ... All-Southwest selection by Super Prep and All-Big-12 Region by Prep Star ... First-Team All-District and Second-Team All-Area ... Honorable mention Academic All-State ...
