• Tonight's attendance of 49,371 versus USC is the largest crowd at the "new" Stanford Stadium.

• Stanford's 42-point loss to USC is the biggest since 1977 when the Trojans beat the Cardinal, 49-0, in Los Angeles Today's game also marks the largest margin of defeat to the Trojans at home since USC beat Stanford, 54-7, in 1952, as well as the largest of the season to any team this year.

• The Cardinal's 208 yards of total offense against USC is its highest output in the last three games.

T.C. Ostrander passed for a season-high 178 yards and had the fourth-highest single-game passing total of his career. Ostrander also had season-highs for both completions (16) and pass attempts (30).

• Ostrander's 33-yard pass to Richard Sherman in the fourth quarter was Ostrander's longest pass of the season and Sherman's longest reception of his career.

Evan Moore surpassed 1000 career receiving yards with his 25 yards receiving on two catches ... Moore now has 1011 career receiving yards on 61 receptions.

Anthony Kimble equaled a season-best with his three receptions.

Marcus McCutcheon made his first reception of the season when he caught a pass for 22 yards in the second quarter.

Jay Ottovegio punted a season-high eight times with three punts staying inside USC's 20 (also a season-high).

• Stanford's starting offensive linemen have now combined to start 167 games - more than any other group of offensive linemen in the country.

Ray Jones tied a career-best with his three kickoff returns, while Wopamo Osaisai's two kickoff returns were the most of his brief career as a kick returner.

Trevor Hooper recorded the first solo sack of his career and also had a career-high-tying and season-high 2.0 tackles-for-loss.

Clinton Snyder's sack was the first of his career.

• Stanford completed passes to a season-high nine receivers.

• Stanford has now lost 16 straight games to Top 25 teams.

• USC has now won 52 of its last 55 games.

• Pete Carroll is now 17-0 in November as USC's head coach.

• USC has won its last eight games coming off of a loss.

• USC has won five games in a row over Stanford.

• USC has scored at least 20 points in an NCAA record 60 consecutive games.

• Dwayne Jarrett recorded his 11th career 100-yard receiving game (second time in 2006). He also extended his Pac-10 career touchdown reception record to 34 with one TD reception.

• Jarrett and Steve Smith both caught a touchdown pass in the same game for the eighth time in their careers.

• Today was the sixth time this year that John David Booty threw at least two touchdown passes in a game.

• USC had gone the previous three games having forced just one turnover (0 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery) before forcing Stanford into three.

• Dating to USC's previous game at Oregon State last Saturday, the Trojans have now scored 63 consecutive points (the last 21 at OSU and 42 at Stanford) against its opponents.

• USC's last shutout win was against Washington on October 23, 2004 (38-0).
