Stanford, Calif. - Stanford junior Casey Jacobsen, who is the school's third all-time leading scorer (1,723 points), today announced he has declared for the NBA Draft in June. Jacobsen, a three-time All-Pac-10 selection, indicated he will not sign with an agent, thus leaving open the possibility that he will return for his senior season on The Farm.
Jacobsen, who hails from Glendora, Calif., has until June 19 to remove his name from the NBA Draft which will be held June 26. The deadline for underclassmen to declare is May 12.
Jacobsen led the Pac-10 in scoring, averaging 21.9 points per game. He helped lead the Cardinal to a 20-10 overall record and to the second round of the NCAA tournament.
