The women's squad defeated Swarthmore (22-5), Florida (21-6), Caltech (27-0), Air Force (18-9) and UC San Diego (18-9), falling only to Northwestern (2-25).
The men's team defeated Swarthmore (25-2), Florida (24-3), Caltech (27-0) and UC San Diego (14-13). The team lost to Air Force (11-16) and Notre Dame (9-18).
"Overall we competed very well today," said head coach Lisa Milgram. "We fought hard against Air Force and look forward to seeing them again at Western Regionals."
Lindsay, Lee, Stavisky, Klepner and McElwee arrived on The Farm as part of a strong recruiting class this year.
"I was especially excited to see how well the freshmen performed in their first collegiate competition," said Milgram. "As they develop throughout the season the team will continue to improve as we get closer to regionals."
The team's next competition is scheduled for February 4th at the Midwestern Invitational hosted by Northwestern University.
