STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford Football Weekly and host Kevin Danna talked Tuesday with Bradford M. Freeman Director of Football and head coach David Shaw about the highly anticipated Pac-12 showdown versus Oregon State, as well as the emergence of his new starting quarterback and an historic defensive performance at Colorado.
Four players also joined Stanford Football Weekly. Sophomore quarterback Kevin Hogan talks about his reaction and role going forward after being named Stanford's starter. Senior inside linebacker Jarek Lancaster explained how this year's defense has been so successful. Fifth-year senior punter Daniel Zychlinski articulated his role Saturday in what is expected to be a defensive battle. Senior wide receiver Jamal Rashad-Patterson shared the support from and connections with family and friends back home (McDonough, Ga.) during his four years on The Farm.
No. 16/15 Stanford hosts No. 13/12 Oregon State in one of the nation's feature games in college football on Saturday (Nov. 10) with playoff stakes for the Pac-12 North championship. The game kicks off at noon PT and is nationally broadcast on FOX.
