Pasadena, Calif. - The Stanford men's divers swept all three events at the Bruin Invitational. Dwight Dumais captured both the one and three-meter springboard competitions, while Brent Eichenseer won the platform.
In the one-meter, Dumais edged Tom Henninger of California by less than a point to take the title with a score of 323.90. Casey Weston finished sixth with 267.80 points, just ahead of teammate Eichenseer who finished seventh with 263.95. Taylor Sishc rounded out the Stanford divers in ninth with 256.75 points.
Dumais' margin was greater in the three-meter competition where he scored 338.70 points to defeat Eichenseer who placed second with 304.55. Also faring well were Weston who was fifth with 252.10 points and Sishc who was seventh with 241.75.
The Cardinal took the top two spots in the platform with Eichenseer dominating the competition with 342.15 points. Sishc finished second with 284.35 as the only other Stanford diver to compete.
The Stanford divers will be back in action when they travel to the Arizona schools of Jan. 23-24 as a part of Pac-10 dual meets in conjunction with the swim team.
