STANFORD, Calif.-- Fans will have an opportunity to get an inside look at the Stanford Football program on Sunday, August 29, at an Open House event at Stanford Stadium beginning at 1:00 p.m.
The event is free and open to the general public.
Fans will have the opportunity to go inside the Stanford Stadium locker room, get autographs from Stanford players and listen to head coach Jim Harbaugh speak. Kids 8th grade and younger will be able to participate in on-field activities.
"Our team has been hard at work in Training Camp, and we look forward to opening our doors to Stanford fans young and old on August 29, just days before our season opener against Sacramento State," said Harbaugh. "We sense the great enthusiasm that our fans are feeling in anticipation of the 2010 season, and we are eager to see both familiar and new faces at the Open House this year."
Fans may enter Stanford Stadium through Gate 1, which is located on the south side of the stadium adjacent to the Sunken Diamond parking lot. Free parking will be available in the Sunken Diamond and Cobb Track and Angell Field lots.
Single-game, season and group tickets remain available for all Stanford home games for the 2010 season at the Stanford Athletics Ticket Office, on-line at GoStanford.com or by calling 1-800-Stanford. Ticket sales representatives will be on hand at the Open House so make sure you inquire about ticket options and the "What's Your Deal" three-game mini-plan.
