STANFORD, Calif. -- Four Stanford women's gymnasts were selected as NACGC/Women's Gymnastics All-Americans. Chosen as First Team All-Americans were junior Larissa Fontaine in the vault and senior Sarah Harding in the floor exercise. Meanwhile, both freshman Kristin Jensen and senior Amy Murakami were named as Second Team All-Americans in the parallel bars. Murakami was also selected as a Second Team All-American in the floor exercise.

The 1998 NCAA Champion in the vault, Fontaine returned from a hand injury to finish third in the vault (9.8125) at this year's NCAA Championships. A native of Honolulu, Hawaii, Harding placed ninth in the floor at the NCAA Championships with a score of 9.750.

In her first season of collegiate competition, Jensen received a mark of 9.725 or higher in 10 of 12 meets this year on the bars, including a season-high of 9.975 against California (Mar. 27). One of the finest gymnasts in Stanford history, Murakami concluded her career by scoring two perfect-10s on the bars and floor each in her last five meets.
