Stanford, Calif. - The Bay Area will come alive with a series of events during Big Game Week beginning on Monday, November 27 and continuing through the Stanford vs. Cal football game at Memorial Stadium in Berkeley on Saturday, December 2 (12:00 pm, PT).

Mark your calendar, and put on your Cardinal to join us during the week-long festival of events held throughout the Bay Area. GO CARDINAL!

Monday, November 27

Come visit the central hub of fandom during Big Game Week. Get all the tools necessary to be a true Stanford fanatic.


The Leland Stanford Junior University Marching Band kicks off Big Game Week with its annual concert and festivities in the center of campus, at the "Claw" fountain in White Plaza. FREE. Come and enjoy the show.


The Axe Committee takes up residence in the center of campus for the week and members and special guests will be blowing the real CalTrain whistle every hour to count down all 109 hours leading up to the 109th Big Game.

Tuesday, November 28

Today's Feature: Free concert by Safe For Now.


The Stanford Sailing team takes on the Cal sailing team in the San Francisco Bay. Spectator viewing available at the St. Francis Yacht Clubhouse. Awards presentation and ceremony follow the event. Event viewing is FREE and lunch is available for purchase.


Here Cal groups and several Stanford groups perform at this biannual event.
Come enjoy an evening of musical rivalry! Featuring many vocal groups from both Stanford and Cal.

Come have lunch with both head coaches Walt Harris and Jeff Tedford along with select players from both Stanford and Cal. In addition both athletic directors Bob Bowlsby of Stanford and California Sandy Barbour will also be in attendance for the luncheon. This event is open to the public.
