Stanford's football team was named the Tostitos National Team of the Week following its triple overtime 56-48 win at USC on Saturday. The weekly award was voted on by the Football Writer's Association.
Andrew Luck and company engineered a 76-yard drive to tie the game in regulation and then traded touchdowns and extra points over the first two overtime periods. Stanford then scored on its third overtime possession and knocked away USC's attempt to give the No. 3-ranked Cardinal its third-straight victory at USC.
Stanford rides a 16-game win streak into Saturday's game at Oregon State.
