STANFORD, Calif. - The Stanford women's crews, openweight and lightweight, will be holding informational meetings for all prospective walk-ons next Tuesday, September 21, and Wednesday, September 22, at 3:30 p.m. The meetings will take place on upstairs balcony of the Ford Center. All interested potential rowers and coxswains should stop by to learn more about the sport and the team, meet the coaches, and sign up for our Learn to Row class.
Are you athletic and driven? Do you want the chance to win a National Championship in a Division 1 Varsity sport? Then Stanford crew is for you!
Every year, athletes who have never rowed before join the Stanford Varsity Rowing Team and compete for Pac-10 championships, national championships, and spots on the United States National Team. The Stanford boathouse is home to the 2010 National Champion lightweight womens crew and the 2009 NCAA Champion openweight womens crew. Our varsity teams rely on walk-on athletes to continue competing at the highest national and international levels. We need YOU to continue the winning tradition of Stanford Rowing!

Are you an energetic leader and under 110 lbs.? You could be a coxswain!
