Stanford, Calif. - Stanford (11-0, 2-0 Pac-10) will continue Pac-10 action this weekend with a pair of home duals against the Arizona schools. The Cardinal will take on No. 17 Arizona State on Friday at 1:30 p.m. and No. 48 Arizona on Saturday at noon.
Stanford opened Pac-10 action on the road last week in Washington, sweeping the Cougars and the Huskies to improve to 11-0 on the season. The Cardinal is 3-0 at home this season, with an 88-match winning streak on the Taube Tennis Center courts.
The Sun Devils (6-2) have used seven different lineups in eight matches this season, with Juniors Kady Pooler and Rebecca Rankin seeing the most variety, playing in three different spots and compiling a combined 10-4 record.
The Wildcats (9-2) have faced Stanford 45 times and have won only once, on February 21, 1987. Last season, Arizona fell to Stanford in Palo Alto, 6-1.
