Aiming for a sweep of its only homestand during the month of January, Stanford (14-3, 4-1 Pac-12) welcomes conference newcomer Colorado (11-5, 3-1 Pac-12) to Maples Pavilion on Saturday afternoon. The Cardinal picked up a 68-65 win over Utah Thursday.

Colorado (11-5, 3-1 Pac-12) entered the week as the Pac-12's first-place team before dropping a 57-50 decision at California on Thursday night ... In Thursday's loss, the Buffaloes shot just 31.9 percent and were outscored 35-21 in the second half. Austin Default scored 19 points while Andre Roberson grabbed 14 rebounds ... Colorado has won six of its last seven games and opened Pac-12 play with home wins over Utah, Washington and Washington State ... Picked to finish 10th in the Pac-12 preseason media poll, Colorado tallied a school-record 24 wins last year as a member of the Big 12 before losing to Alabama in the NIT semis ... The Buffaloes are averaging 70.6 points and 38.2 rebounds per game while shooting 45.5 percent overall. Opponents are shooting only 38.6 percent- the lowest mark in the league ... Stanford holds the all-time edge at 7-3. The Cardinal has won three in a row in the series, including a 76-62 home victory in the most recent meeting on Nov. 29, 2008 in the Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series. Colorado's last win came on Dec. 23, 1990, with the Buffs booking an 89-79 decision in Boulder.
