WALNUT CREEK, Calif.-- Stanford distance swimmer David Mosko was named the Pac-10's Swimmer of the Month for February, prior to the team's 29th-straight conference title this weekend.
Mosko is the second Stanford swimmer to earn the conference's monthly honor this season, joining Eugene Godsoe, who earned the honor in November.
The Cincinnati native during the month of February won three events in dual meets with USC and Cal, winning the 500 free and 200 butterfly at USC and the 200 fly against Cal. Mosko was also third in the 200 and 500 freestyles in a meet decided by four points.
During the team's run towards its 29th conference title, Mosko won the 500 freestyle, and was third in the 200 butterfly.
