STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford Athletics today has launched season ticket renewals for the 2013 Stanford Football season.
Season ticket holders can today for the first time renew their seats in Stanford Stadium and request additional season tickets for the 2013 season. The deadline for renewals is April 8. Online renewals at GoStanford.com are encouraged and will net a $10 savings of service charge.
A limited number of single-game tickets may be purchased by season ticket holders beginning June 24, as available. Individual tickets at Stanford Stadium will be in scarce supply, with a record number of 2013 deposits already made for new season ticket holders. Both expectations for the 2013 Stanford team and the quality of the home schedule are at unprecedented levels.
The Cardinal is a consensus Top-10 team heading into the 2013 season, ranked No. 3 by ESPN.com, Sports Illustrated and USA Today; No. 4 by CBSSports.com; No. 6 by Athlon Sports; and No. 8 by Sporting News.
Commensurate to the Cardinal's rankings, Stanford's 2013 home schedule features six opponents who played in bowl games this past season, plus the 116th edition of the Big Game. Stanford's seven opponents won an average of nine games in 2012 and combined to win 68 percent of their games. Four of the Cardinal's 2013 opponents ranked in the Top 25 of the final 2012 BCS standings.
Season ticket pricing, locations, parking and more for the 2013 season may be found at Football Central.
Deposits for new 2013 season tickets may still be placed at GoStanford.com.
Stanford's spring practices begin Feb. 25 and will conclude April 13 with the Cardinal & White Spring Game, free and open to the public at 3pm in Stanford Stadium.
