Stanford junior Jamie Schroeder has again been selected to represent the United States National Rowing team in next week's World Championships. Shroeder returns to the national team after completing his junior season in the Men's Varsity eight. Last summer Jamie was a member of the gold medal U.S. under 23 team eight. Coupled with his back-to-back world indoor rowing titles, Jamie has positioned himself as a candidate for the Olympic team of 2004. "This is a great accomplishment for Jamie and his teammates on the Stanford Crew", said Men's coach and Rowing Director Craig Amerkhanian. Jamie is one of a few undergraduates on the National team, joining Stanford Women's Crew team member Samantha McGee. The Cardinal is looking forward to the Oct. 4 dedication of the Stanford Rowing and Sailing Center.
