Baylor Head Coach Joey Scrivano
Opening Statement: "It's a great win for us. Vanderbilt has been a real thorn in our side for the last few years so to beat them in the NCAA tournament is huge for us."
About the crucial doubles point that Baylor won: "They play great doubles and put alot of pressure on us. They are such a disciplined team that it always comes down to a couple points. We were fortunate today to win the big points especially in doubles."
On advantage of seeing a team that you had lost to 4-3 earlier this season: "I told our team that losing that match 4-3 forced our coaching staff and our players to focus on what we needed to do this time to win. That really helped us and I'm actually thankful that we lost that match 4-3."
