Getting To Know: Stanford Goalkeeper Laura Shane

Stanford, Calif. - Laura Shane is a senior from Baltimore, Md. She is a two-time IWLCA All-American and is working towards another fine season in net for the Cardinal. Shane has recorded 134 saves this season, which is second in the nation. She has also recorded a .554 save percentage, which is the highest amongst starting goalkeepers nationally. She is only allowing 9.82 goals per game and has played all 660 minutes in net for the Cardinal in 2008.

A picture of Sonny Rollins my Dad took when he was a teenager and gave to me on my 18th birthday.
