ABOUT CAL POLY: Sunday's dual marks the first of four road duals for Cal Poly, which has secured wins over Cal Baptist and San Francisco State. The Mustangs lead the all-time series with the Cardinal 39-14-1. Cal Poly freshman 133-pounder Devon Lotito fell out of the national rankings last week, but boasts a 22-7 overall record this season. Junior 184-pounder Sean Dougherty has also wrestled well for the Mustangs, posting an 18-8 mark this year.

TOP PERFORMERS: Juniors Evan Silver (125 pounds) have been the Cardinal's top performers all season long. Last week, the trio, which has combined for 53 wins this season, picked up all five of the Stanford wins last weekend. Silver became the first Cardinal wrestler to reach 20 wins this year. He is just two wins away from breaking into the top 10 of the school's freshman wins list. Baumbach has strung together a season-high six consecutive wins, while Scherer posted his third fall of the year over Air Force's Bentley Alsup.

LOOKING AHEAD: The Cardinal hits the road next week for road duals at Utah Valley on Feb. 1 and Boise State on Feb. 3. A contingent of Stanford wrestlers will also appear in the California Collegiate Open, held in San Francisco, Calif., on Feb. 2.

PAC-12 NETWORKS: With the launch of the Pac-12 Networks in August, fans will get a chance to catch some Stanford wrestling on TV this season. The Cardinal's dual on Feb. 16 against Central Michigan will be televised, as will the Pac-12 Wrestling Championships, held March 2 in Tempe, Ariz.

HEAD COACH Jason Borrelli: Stanford is under the guidance of a fifth-year head coach Jason Borrelli. During his time on The Farm, Borrelli has accrued a 40-49-3 record and sent five wrestlers to the NCAA Championships a total of 12 times. Borrelli, a former Central Michigan standout, first came to The Farm as an assistant coach in 2007 and quickly helped guide the Cardinal to one of its most successful seasons in school history. Since then, Stanford has finished in the top 20 at the NCAA Championships the past two seasons, including a program-best 11th at the 2011 tournament in Philadelphia, Pa.
