2007 SEASON REVIEW
*Stanford synchronized swimming won their pre-season meet against the University of Hawaii (Jan. 11). The competition gave the team a chance to practice their new, more challenging routines, while also helping to draw attention to the second-year Hawaii team. The Stanford coaches created a routine that will challenge the athletes and allow them to achieve their highest potential.
*No. 1 Stanford synchronized swimming put together graceful, yet powerful routines to claim victory in their first regular season meet over No. 3 Incarnate Word (Jan. 28). The Cardinal finished on top in all four events, including sweeping the top two spots in the trio and duet routines.
*This weekend No. 1 Stanford Synchronized swimming traveled to the University of Arizona for their third competition of the season (Feb. 5). Duplicating the success from their first two meets, the Cardinal came out on top once again.
*No. 1 Stanford synchronized swimming defeated UAB on Saturday (Feb. 11) by a score of 90-61. The Cardinal remained undefeated with their fourth victory of the season. In the end, Stanford was able to overcome the home pool advantage of UAB and earn the top spot for the fourth time this season.
*No.1 Stanford synchronized swimming defeated UAB and Wheaton College on Saturday (Feb. 17) in a tri-meet by a score of 102 to 81 (UAB), 72 (Wheaton). The Cardinal was then victorious over UAB in a figure and elements competition, defeating them 22 - 20. On Sunday (Feb. 18), Stanford faced UAB for the third time in the season. The meet began with five of the six elements, as Stanford averaged a score of 75.108 to earn 12 points, while UAB averaged a score of 74.145 for 11 points.
*No. 1 Stanford synchronized swimming defeated Arizona and University of Hawaii in a tri-meet on Saturday (Mar. 3). The Cardinal was victorious with a score of 90 to 39 (Arizona), 10 (Hawaii). Stanford excelled in the team routine earning first place and a score of 96.00, giving them 18 points towards their victorious 90. Arizona had a strong routine earning 81.50 for their team score and placed second overall. University of Hawaii ended in third place with only one swimmer who competed in the solo event, earning her team 10 points.

*Stanford Synchronized swimming continued its strong performance, taking first place in the team competitions and winning the solo B figure competition as well (Mar. 23).
