STANFORD, Calif. - Hey SWG Fans!
Unfortunately our season came to an end slightly earlier than we had expected, but we have a lot to be proud of this year. The regional meet wasn't what we hoped for, but we learned a lot from our mistakes and can use the disappointment as fuel and fire for next year. It's upsetting to end such a fantastic season the way we did, but our goal of winning a national championship doesn't end here and it will be in the back of our minds as we condition and train hard over the next few months.
Despite the disappointing finish, this past year has been one of the most successful seasons in Stanford women's gymnastics history. We finished the year with the most wins in school history and were a consistent force all season long. We had an absolutely amazing senior class leading us and they will truly be missed. Shelley, Dani, and Weedge (Allyse) inspired us all with their hard work, dedication, love for the sport, excitement, and passion for Stanford Gymnastics. They are part of our family and we will miss them very much and wish them the best as they move on next year. We have two weeks off before our spring conditioning begins to catch up on some work and enjoy the springtime weather. After that, it is back to fueling the fire and letting our burning embers turn into a blaze as we prepare for next season.
Thanks for your support all season long and check back in for updates throughout the summer and next season!
