Stanford, Calif. - The United States' most prestigious track and field meet comes to Stanford's Cobb Track and Angell Field for three exciting days. The USA Track and Field Championships will be held at Stanford University on June 21-23. The United States' top track and field athletes, including the world's fastest man and woman, Maurice Green and Marion Jones, will compete in the first U.S. national championships held at Stanford since 1932. In addition, the USA Track and Field Junior Championships will take place at Stanford on June 21-22. The top 14-19 year old track and field athletes in the United States will compete for spots on Team USA that will compete at the World Junior Track and Field Championships in July in Kingston, Jamaica. Tickets can be purchased for both events at the Stanford Athletics ticket office located at Gate 1 of Stanford Stadium or by calling 1-800-STANFORD. Tickets also will be sold the day of the event. A capacity crowd is expected so fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early.
