Field Hockey: Winter Life

19 Hours: Stanford Field Hockey

2011: Participated in 18 games, all off the bench ... attempted two shots on the year, against Albany (Aug. 31) and Robert Morris (Sept. 30).

2010: Competed in 18 games, making 16 starts ... totaled four points, with one goal and two assists ... added six shot attempts ... dished out first career assist in a win against Pacific (Aug. 27) ... credited with the game-winning goal against Harvard (Oct. 8).

2009: Saw action in seven games, all as a reserve ... made collegiate debut against Kent State (Sept. 6) ... attempted first career shot in an 11-1 rout of UC Davis (Oct. 17) ... scored her first career goal against Appalachian State (Nov. 5) in a 9-0 win, with two of her three shot attempts on frame.

High School: Four-year letterwinner in field hockey, and a two-time team captain ... during her senior campaign, team was crowned British Columbia AA High School Provincial champions and North Shore AA High School League champions ... earned MVP honors in each of her last two years ... two-time first team North Shore AA Athletic Association All-Star ... also participated in basketball, soccer and track.

Other Field Hockey: Competed for the West Vancouver Field Hockey Club and Meralomas Field Hockey Club squad ... selected to represent her regional and provincial teams at the Canadian National Championships.

Personal: Parents are Suki and Desha Sekhon ... has a sister, Vanessa, and two brothers, Harrison and Ryan ... sister, Vanessa, played field hockey at Michigan ... hobbies include dance, exercising, watching sports and listening to music.
