STANFORD, Calif. – The Pac-12 Challenge will take place this Saturday and Sunday at Redwood Shores, Calif. and will mark the first race of the spring season for the Stanford women’s and lightweight rowing squads.
There will be 10 colleges competing throughout the weekend. Along with Stanford there will be the University of San Diego, Louisville, Oregon State, Wisconsin, Virginia, USC, Clemson, St. Mary’s and Cal.
Action will begin at 9 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday with the varsity I eight leading off both days. There will be two lanes with two schools racing each other at a time. Saturday’s schedule includes races from 9 a.m. until 1:14 p.m. before a one-hour lunch break. The second session begins at 2:30 p.m. and ends at 5:46 p.m. On Sunday the final race will take place at 11:40 a.m.

From US-101 take the Ralston Ave. exit and head East. The course will be 0.6 miles on the right hand side.
