2014 Season: Outdoors -
Earned her second consecutive U.S. junior national title in the javelin with a season best 175-0 (53.35 meters) ... the throw placed her No. 2 on both the Stanford all-time and freshman lists ... advanced to the IAAF World Junior Championships in Eugene, Ore. ... finished second to teammate Brianna Bain at the Pac-12 Championships (164-8) ... advanced to the NCAA West Prelims and placed 17th (151-11) ... second in the Big Meet in the javelin and third in the discus (122-3 in her only competition in that event) ... made her collegiate debut at the Hornet Invitational on March 22, winning the javelin with a throw of 159-10 ... trailed going into final throw, but improved by seven feet ... it was the fourth-longest in Stanford history and the second longest ever by a Stanford freshman. Indoors - Did not compete.

International: Won gold at the Pan Am Junior Championships on Aug. 25, 2013, in Medellin, Colombia ... threw 176-11 on her final throw to set meet and personal records ... it also moved her to No. 3 on the all-time U.S. junior list ... was named USA Track and Field Athlete of the Week (Aug. 28, 2013) ... the throw was the 10th-longest by an American in 2013.

High School: Rose to No. 3 on the all-time junior list and No. 2 on the all-time high school list in the javelin with her 176-11 toss at the Pan Am Junior Championships in Colombia on Aug. 25, 2013 ... the throw ranked No. 10 among all Americans in 2013, including professionals and collegians ... won the 2013 U.S. junior national championship with a then-personal record throw of 166-7 in Des Moines, Iowa … the throw was her first of the competition and won by nearly 10 feet … set a personal best of 168-1 on June 30, 2013, in Pihtipudas, Finland, and trained with Finnish national team coaches for some of the summer ... won the 2013 New Balance Outdoor Nationals with a throw of 159-1 … holds the Utah state record of 156-3 … broke her own Utah record in 2012 when she unleashed a toss of 149-0¼ to win the state 3A title … won three state 3A javelin titles and two discus championships … has a best discus throw of 131-1½ … was fifth at the 2012 U.S. junior nationals in the javelin ... lettered for three years in volleyball.

Personal: Parents are Tom and Niki Glasmann ... mother is the former Niki Nye, a javelin All-America who continues to hold the school record at Texas (182-6, old implement) ... in 1988, Nye was fourth in both the NCAA Championships and Olympic trials ... Nye also played volleyball at Weber State before transferring to Texas ... has two younger sisters, Chrissy and Jaynie, and a younger brother, Tom ... all are also training in the javelin ... Megan is a left-handed thrower ... anticipates majoring in psychology with a possible career as a forensic psychologist or criminal law attorney.
