2013 Season (Freshman):

• Ran unattached in three meets
• Placed 44th at the Stanford Invitational (22:53, 6K)
• Was ninth at the Doc Adams Invite in Davis, Calif. (21:52, 6K) and 89th at the Bronco Invitational (21:58.4) in Sunnyvale

Track and Field:

• Holds a 1,500 best of 4:44.09

High School:

• Won six Southwest Preparatory Conference individual championships – three in the 3,200 meters, two in the 1,600, and one in cross country
• Placed 15th in the 2013 U.S. junior national cross-country championships in St. Louis, and was the fifth high school runner in the race
• In 2011, led The Hockaday School to its first conference cross country title in more than 30 years and to its first track championship


• Parents are Ramsey and Ginger Choucair
• Has two sisters, Christine and Angelina
• Has a wide range of interests for possible majors, including engineering, psychology, and political • Anticipates attending law school
• Interested in possible careers in athletics and law
• Born in Boston
• Played at a high level of club soccer, including as a two-year member of the Olympic Development Program regional team, until switching to running full-time as a sophomore
• Before soccer, competed in gymnastics
• Ran for the Dallas Metroplex Striders, a running club for high school athletes that allows them to train at a higher level than many school teams, and won the 2011 national team cross country championship
