INDIANAPOLIS – Felicia Lee highlighted Stanford women’s swimming’s fourth day at USA Swimming's Phillips 66 National Championships, earning a ninth-place finish in the 100m back Friday at the Indiana University Natatorium.
Lee finished with a time of 1:00.81 in the finals after qualifying with a 1:01.75.
Andie Taylor notched a 16th-place finish in the 400m free with a 4:15.10. Taylor qualified to the finals with a prelim time of 4:15.10.
Sarah Haase rounded out the group of Cardinal competitors, competing in the 100m breaststroke prelims and touching in at 1:10.92.
Complete Phillips 66 National Championships information, including results and competition schedules, is available online at USAswimming.org. The action continues daily through Saturday. Prelims will be held each day at 6 a.m. (PT), followed by finals at 3 p.m.
This meet is the sole qualifier for the U.S. team for the pool competition at the FINA World Championships, which runs July 28-Aug. 4 in Barcelona. The winner of each Olympic event will claim an automatic spot on the roster.
