STANFORD, Calif. - Patrick Rodgers, Cameron Wilson and Andrew Yun were named to the Division I PING All-Region West Team, as announced Tuesday morning by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
Rodgers, who earned First Team PING All-American last year, capped off his sophomore season with six top-10 finishes, including three individual victories at Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini, U.S. Collegiate and Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters. He led the Cardinal with a 70.9 stroke average (34 rounds) and holds the Stanford Career Low Stroke Average record at 70.77 (71 rounds).
Wilson had five top-10 finishes on the season, including a second-place tie at the Gifford Collegiate Championships where he shot a course-record 61 (-10) at CordeValle. The junior recorded the second lowest stroke average at 71.4 (28 rounds).
Yun, a senior and mainstay on the Cardinal lineup all four years, enjoyed two top-10 finishes this spring and a 72.1 stroke average in 22 rounds of competition. He ranks third in program’s career low stroke average at 71.6 (124 rounds), behind Rodgers and Tiger Woods.
During his sophomore year, Yun earned PING First Team All-American.
