  • Coxswain for the varsity eight 
  • Won two races, including the C Final for 13th place at the IRA National Championships 
  • Earned a bronze medal at the Pac-12 Championships 
  • Claimed wins over No. 12 Wisconsin and USD at the Stanford Invitational
  • Led the boat to a third place finish in the Grand Final of the San Diego Crew Classic after winning the prelims heat
  • Lost to No. 2 Cal in the Big Row 
  • Defeated No. 18 Oregon State in head-to-head action
  • Lost a dual with No. 3 Washington 
  • Competed at the 49th Head of the Charles, coxing the Cardinal to a third place finish in the Men’s Championship Four

2012-13 (Freshman)

  • Coxed the Varsity I Eight in every spring race
  • Finished eighth at the IRA National Championships
  • Earned silver at the Pac-12 Championships 
  • Captured the Schwabacher Cup for the first time since 2008 by defeating Cal at The Big Row 
  • Second place finish at the San  Diego Crew Classic 
  • Downed Wisconsin, Oregon State and Orange Coast College in head-to-head action at the Stanford Invitational 
  • Placed first at the UC Davis Invite 
  • Competed in both the Varsity Eight (3rd) and Frosh Eight (1st) at the Newport Autumn Rowing Festival
  • Won the Head of the Charles Championship Four race

  • Graduated in 2012 from Holton-Arms in Bethesda, Md. 
  • Captain of the rowing team as a senior 
  • Holton-Arms MVP two straight seasons in 2011 and 2012
