2015 Season:

• Competed in one meet, finishing 13th in the shot (43-11 3/4) at the season-opening UW Indoor Preview.

2014 Season:

Placed fifth in the Pac-12 in the discus with a PB of 178-1.
• The only competitor from the first flight to advance to the finals.
• Improved on his two-week-old PB of 171-1 from the Payton Jordan Invitational by nearly seven feet.
• Advanced to the NCAA West Prelims for the first time, throwing 171-9, but did not advance.
• Set PB of 51-6 1/2 in the shot put by placing fifth at Payton Jordan.
•  Opened with a 163-2 in the discus and 47-0 1/4 in the shot at the Cal Outdoor Opener.
• Named Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.


Did not compete.

2013 Season:

Steadily progressed throughout the season in both the shot put and discus.
• Placed eighth in the discus at the Pac-12 Championships with a personal best 171-0.
• Had a personal best shot put of 49-10 at the Jim Click Shootout.
• Fourth in the Big Meet in the discus (167-8) and fifth in the shot (48-7 1/4).


Did not compete.

High School:

• Led Loyola High School of Los Angeles to the Nike Nationals in Eugene, Ore., with a personal-best shot put of 61-10 1/2.
• Second at the 2011 California state championships in the discus at 178-5 after throwing 182-9 in the prelims.
• Set a Los Angeles County meet record with a throw of 192-1 in 2012.
• Received the Ed Castellanos Award for dedication for his accomplishments in track and field ... helped his team win its fifth consecutive CIF Southern Section Division II championship.


• Majoring in science, technology, and society, with a concentration on innovation, technology, and organizations.
• Received awards for the highest achievement in math and science studies at Loyola.
