2014 Season: Outdoors - Won her third consecutive Pac-12 title, with a toss of 178-11 ... placed ninth at the NCAA Championships to earn second-team All-America honors ... her top throw was 171-9, on her third throw, enabling her to reach the  final ... was second in the NCAA West Prelims (169-10) ... won the Big Meet at 178-1 ... threw 180-5 in her opening meet, to win the Stanford Invitational with what  would be a season-best throw ... named Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention. Indoors - Did not compete.

2013 Season: Outdoors - Ranked No. 5 in Track & Field News U.S. rankings ... her 183-10 was the No. 4 throw by an American in 2013 ... repeated as Pac-12 champion, throwing 176-8 to set a USC stadium record... earned her second first-team All-America honor by placing third at the NCAA Championships, throwing 176-1 ... finished sixth at the USATF Championships, her highest senior national finish, with a throw of 174-0 … recipient of the Block 'S' Outstanding Female Sophomore Award at the Stanford Athletic Board awards ... has two top-three NCAA finishes ... became the third in history to win two Pac-12 women's javelin titles ... broke her own school record with a personal-best 183-10 to win the Big Meet (April 20) ... the mark achieved the USATF 'A' standard ... through the NCAA Championships, it was the longest throw by a collegian and No. 2 among Americans ... entered the NCAA's as the top qualifier at either NCAA Prelim, winning in Austin in 175-10. 2012 Season: Outdoors - Finished second at the NCAA Championships in dramatic fashion ... threw personal record 180-2 on her sixth and final throw -- more than 12 feet farther than her second-best of the day ... that throw ranked her at No. 9 on the 2012 U.S. performance list ... earned first-team All-America honors ... won the Pac-12 championship with a throw of 175-9 ... was second at the NCAA West preliminary meet at 167-1 ... advanced to the Olympic trials and in Eugene and placed 13th with a 162-4 throw in the prelims ... earned Pac-12 Field Athlete of the Week (April 17) after winning the Big Meet with a toss of 171-2 ... finished second in the USATF junior national championships, with a throw of 161-2. Indoors - Did not compete.

International: Finished 26th at the 2012 IAAF World Junior Championships in Barcelona, Spain, with a throw of 156-3.

High School: Set the Aloha school record in the javelin with a toss of 164-1 ... a two-time All-American in the javelin ... named the Metro League Athlete of the year for 2010-11 ... twice was fourth in the Oregon 6A state championship meet in the javelin ... three-time all-state and all-Metro League while at Aloha ... also played water polo and was a conference player of the year ... three-time all-league in water polo and basketball ... captain of the track team all four years ... won 12 varsity letters and played four sports.

Personal: Majoring in psychology ... daughter of Don and Laura Bain ... one older sister, Sarah, who was a setter on the volleyball team at Dominican University ... uncle Ernie Steele played was a running back in the NFL from 1942-48 -- seven seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and one for the "Steagles," the one-season merger between the Eagles and the Pittsburgh Steelers ... uncle Don Duncan, the former swimming coach at University of Puget Sound, was an NAIA national coach of the year and is in the NAIA Hall of Fame ... enjoys playing the piano and baking.
