NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Stanford women's squash senior Pamela Chua was named the 2012-13 recipient of the Richey Award, the first in Stanford women's squash history.
The Richey Award is given annually to the women's squash player who best exemplifies their love and devotion to the game, fairness, and excellence of play and leadership.
The three-time All-American competed in Stanford's first position all four years of her collegiate career, taking on every opponent's top player.
Chua finished this season with a 7-6 record and helped lead Stanford to a seventh-place finish at the Howe Cup, women's squash's national championship.
The Richey Award is decided by a vote among all 32 NCAA women's squash coaches.
